Stawberry last Saturday Lincoln Beach this afternoon
#1
I tried my luck again at Strawberry last Saturday. We fished from 6:30am to 12:30pm. Four rods casting jigs caught about 25 cuts which was about half of the fish boated the week before. It was a little slower. I am going to give Lincoln a try this afternoon for white bass and cats. If any of you are out along the springs or the Island flag me down and lets meet. I will report on this afternoons trip tomorrow.

My method is to throw white jigs along the shore of shallow bays. when I say shallow I mean 4-8 feet of water. I also move around until I find active fish and that seems to change every trip. I took my friend fishing Saturday and he complained that he kept getting weeds on his jig, well the fish are hanging in the weeds and that is exactly where I throw. I like tube jigs with 1/8-1/4 oz. lead heads. I hope this helps. Go get em.
