#1
was going to work last monday but when i got there the big W was allredy going about 60 mph in the area and rain started up.. and it was just to nice of a day to wast working..
so i grabed my boss and headed to LB jetty..
i got there just as the cold frount hitt..wind gusts up to 70 mph heal rain and cold driveing wind.. just the day i want to fish..
started out hitting a 5 lbs cat after about 30 min's fishing.. we hit cat's the whole time the storm was rageing on around us..
after about a hour the storm started to die down some and so did the fishing for cat's.. and the muddy's started up and ran me out of minnows.. around 1:30 headed for home..
all together we cought 10 channel cat's 20 muddy's and one eye

Good report Ron. Sounds like a perfect day to fish kitties.. Note any fins?

I wish my boss were as accomodating [Smile]
I admire your desire to fish in conditions I avoid. I was planning on going out Monday as well but the hail and wind kept me dry and inside. However, it seems as though you were well rewarded for you efforts - nice pics and well worth it!

I guess if the boss is with you it's OK to play hookie! Strong work fuzzy!

A friend of mine and I (he also works for me) were fishing and he got a phone call. "Im down here at Utah Lake fishing with my boss," he said to the person on the other end. After finishing the call I harassed him. "Your boss?! Is that how you view me? I thought I was your friend?" "You are," he said, "but telling people Im out fishing with my boss makes is sound funner."

[cool]Nice report, fuzzy. I thought just the walleye fishing gets better in windy conditions like that. Now I guess I know that the kittie fishin' does too!
