my cousin wants me to take him out for some fishing this friday and I am trying to decide between scofield or strawberry. Does anyone have any advice,

p.s. advice on location bait or lures would help a lot as well.

[cool]All over 22 inches? Wow, that's pretty darn impressive for Scofield these days. That lake gets a TON more pressure now since the new regs at Strawberry took place. All of the substance "sillypuddy" chuckers go there now. Most of the reports I've heard from there lately have talked about all of the small 'bows being caught.

Go to Strawberry. That's where I'm headed saturday. Last time I was at Scofield there was way too much debris in the water to even fish it reasonably. The fish were biting(lightly) but the debris was just way too much to deal with. Also, it was really snaggy. So yeah.
I'm fishing strawberry saturday on the Soldier Creek side. Last time I tried green foxxy jigs worked best, but minnows and powerbait also worked, too. Just look for the fish putting up bait fish, and it won't be too long till you hook into a decent sized cutt.

Boy I hear the fishing up there might suck. I wouldn't go but night fishing for walleye might work
