Float tubing Fish Lake

No, I haven't gone there - yet. But my son and I are hopefully hitting it next Mon.-Wed. Is the water temp too low for float tubing there and at, say, Mill Meadow or Forsyth? We have Neoprene waders and ice fishing garb if necessary.
Has anyone had any fishing reports for that area? I'm sure Seven Mile, UM, and the Fremont River are all too fast and furious for fly fishing - that's why we thought we'd try the lakes.

Thanks, Pat, for the info. Sometimes it's a pain to kick through the weed layer there but generally it's worth it. Maybe the other lakes will be good, too. I'll send info back either way.

I was fishlake on friday 10th for the day and there were two tubers on the north end.Water was bearly 50 deg. The lake turned over about a week ago and so the fishing was a little slow.They also planted it last monday I belive so if you go you can catch all the 8" fish that you want The splake had lock jaw same with the macks and bigger rainbows.I did catch a nice 18" bow that was the highlight of the trip!The water is WAY up to..Good Luck

Thanks for the update! I'm surprised that they planted it; the past few years it received planters because the other local waters were in such shape. Any news on other lakes in the area?
