patching a hole in a tube?
#1
i think i have a hole in my tube right in the back under the zipper in the main bladder[pirate]. what is the best way to patch it? how effective is a patch? my tube is 6 years old. the thing is faded and old but its a good tube. i hate to have to divorce it for a younger prettier one(that sounds kinda crazy huh?). i hope i can save our relationship. is a patched tube safe? it's gotta be safer than what i do now, take it out on the water and blow air into it every ten mins or so. any advice?

Aqua Seal has worked for me on many things and I know others here like it. I had a hole in an air mattress that was half an inch wide and three inches long. Two layers of Aquaseal later and it hasn't leaked no matter how much my son jumps on it.
