Sunday, I was fishing the Weber river below Rockport stripping a giant zonker in the back water. When to my surprise I hooked into a 14" smallmouth. Wow must have came over the spillway?

Quite a few years ago the DWR planted smallmouth in the lower reaches of the Weber River in and below Ogden. Has anyone ever caught any since? I have never heard reports of any being caught.

There are plenty of "small" small mouths on the lower Weber through the getto part of Ogden. Just be careful so you don't get mugged.
