Gorge hideout report
#1
Fished Hideout canyon last weekend and did great for kokes. They were biting anything shasta before 10 am and after 6 pm. The wind in the middle of the day was terrible. the best combo for me was 2 pink sling blades trailed by a sockeyeslayer custom squid bait. The wife did the best on a green sling blade trailed by a green cripplure. All fish were 17 to 20 inches and weighed between 1.5 and 2.5 lbs. Fish were at different depths in different locations ranging between 30 and 55 ft. Talked to some guys trolling lake trout they claimed good success catching a 12 15 and 25 in hideout that morning. We had a great time cant wait to go back. Its funny how after you catch a bunch of salmon how anoyed you get when you hook a rainbow.
