Fishing this weekend?

Im new to the forum, and thought that I would ask for some expert opions. I am going fishing this weekend and was debating on either going up to E-lake or Strawberry. If i could get some input on where would be the best to go and what to use. I will be on the shore.

Welcome wetyourfly! I'm a fan of both places, but I think if it were me, I'd get some minnows (or a minnow trap) and head up the e-lake. The fish aren't big, but they seem to be hungry, and willing to eat a good meal of small fish! If you go to a bait shop, get the red sided shiner minnows. Put them a little below a bobber, and you should be into fish. Drop fuzzyfisher a PM and he would even have some more suggestions for you if you head to e-lake. Good luck and have fun.

If you want to be a certain of catching fish go to e-lake! [] Minnow under a bobber or worm will do it for you.I love throwing spoons to .For rainbows use jakes on the boat ramp side.If you fish the dam side use worm and marshmellow on the bottom.Have fun!
