Well I finally got a chance to take out the new pontoon. I had a blast. I didn't catch a ton of fish as I was trying to get use to steering with the trolling motor. I did catch a couple of nice bow's on perch pattern rapala's and a few bass on some senkos. It was awesome other than some wind. At one point it was really windy and I cranked the motor to the 5 setting and caught some air on some waves. I think next time I will take the toon on top of my car like CBR and MikeCromaine. instead of putting it together up there. I wasted too much time. Maybe because it was my first time putting it together. One bow I caught jumped out of the water. It was awesome. I had my seat adjusted too far back at first, but then adjusted it and it felt great. It was nice not to cramp up. I will still use my float tube, but I love my colorado from Sams club. My only complaint is paying $9 to get in. I will probably do Strawberry next time.I launched from the main marina today. If anyone needs a tooning partner, just let me know.

Man isn't catching fish from the toon fun! Let me know when you go out after the 4th weekend and I would love to join you and show you some tricks on controlling the toon and have general fun catching some smallmouth. I've figured Jordanelle out pretty good this year and could help get you into alot of fish, from the toon!

I actually got the green one and I love it. The first fish I caught I was trolling and the fish hit hard. I panicked for a minute not knowing if I should turn off the motor and then reel in or what. I guess landing it is all the counts. I would love to go with you guys anytime. When the wind would die down and I was in a cove, missing work, I couldn't think of anything better. Talk to you later
