Well got real late start, left the boat at home and took the donut. Launched from Rock Cliff about 5:30 well was going to launch but had left my pole at home. I couldn't believe I loaded everything into the truck and left the pole. Loaded everything back into the truck and headed home to get it, bot did I feel dumb. Got back around around 6:30 and was kicking to the structure in no time. Fished and fished got a couple of nibbles, betting perch, but no takers. Left the sonar home so I don't know the water temps but over by the inlet it was COLD brrrrrr in ultra lites. Around dark I hauled myself back to shore put the tube away and shored fish til about 10:00. Any guesses on what is spawning in Jordanelle right now! See attached pic. Picked up 20 of these in about an hour. I forgot to mention that I kept 4 for smoking on the weber.

I have fished Jordanelle quite a bit and have never seen or heard of any white fish being caught. Were you up the provo river arm? Were they spawning by the shore like carp?

These are chubs pigstickr and yes they are spawning 10 to 20 off the shoreline. They are jumping after bugs hitting spinners, jigs, worms. The only thing they didn't seem to hit was the trout fishermens power bait.

Hi Cliff, nothing was biting I mean not a thing. Then about sunset the water comes alive, Fish jumping every where! About ten feet from shore bam I got one ........ yahoooo first fish of the evening. What's this a chub ..... ewwww. Smack him on the head and into the bait box it goes. In an hour between 15 and 20 of these beauties, all between 11 and 14 inches. Never have seen chub this big before and have never caught on out of Jordanelle.
