I went to traffic school the other day for a speeding ticket. A few people in the class were asking about this new law. In Utah when your car is approaching a cop that has another vehicle pulled over, if it is a multi-lane road and you do not pull to the lane opposite of the cop you can be pulled over and this is a zero tolerance ticket that will cost you $85 (they say if traffic is heavy slowing down to ten mph under the speed limit is exceptable). So when you see more than one cop car on the side its likely the second cop is there just to write this ticket.
