Last Sunday Chilly Digits & I Made an evening Catfish run on Utah Lake. We Went to one of his little honey holes near lindon Boat Harbor. We arrived at the fishing spot At about 5:30 & left the area at about 9:45. after catching 16 channel Cats & realeasing 8 & placing 8 in jail!! (to be used for smoking & or Baking Mmmmmm )Bait used, chub minnows, carp meat, shiners & crawlers.

Did you catch anything else or just the channels. I always seem to catch about 10 mudcats, whitebass, bluegills etc to one channel. Thanks for the report.

[#0000ff][size 1]Those are the exact same hooks that I like to use for the cats at Utah Lake. I typically fish one rod on the bottom and one under a bobber. Many times I see the bobber be bounced down and right back up repeatedly, and I figure it is a white bass or mudder trying to steal the bait. I have caught two or three white bass and a few mudders on those large hooks.[/size][/#0000ff]

Yes we did catch 4 Muddies & A Whitie. And yes I have caught several bluegill at Utah Lake But, only while Ice Fishing
