There is a camp just south/west from the launch. I belive its a privatley run camp vs. a state or forest service camp. Looks nice down in there lots of big shady trees and grass, pretty close to the water.

There is another campground about 5 mi (or so) southwest of the launch. Only $10 per night and FLUSHING toilets! Just follow the signs.

Box Elder campground is run by the forest service, and is about 1/2 to a mile below mantua. There's also a private campground next to the lake, but I've never stayed there, so I can't really tell you much about it.

The campground that is right next to the lake is more like an RV park. It costs 15.00 a night. They have showers and it is nice and shady. The only thing I had a problem with is when I camp I like to cook over the fire and they don't have fire pits. But all in all an enjoyable stay.
Good Luck with the bass. I have some friends that fished it last weekend and got some nice bass out of there. I don't know for sure what they were using.

I don't know about the camping up there, but the fishing was great last week. Panfish and bass were our objective and we did quite well on swimming jigs with grubs and spinner baits or crankbaits rolled along just under the surface. What days are you planning to be there ? I may be headed up there as well on Sunday depending on family visiting from out of town - that is.
