Hey all,

I had a chance to shop the new Cabela's last night at the Contractor Pre-Opening. I don't have th right words to describe it. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. They treated us well, 40% off all Cabela's brand merchandise. Most of the cashiers and customer service staff was just training so things were a little slow, but tolerable. The public opening on Thursday is going to be nuts. I suggest finding what you want in the catalog ahead of time and getting it early when the store first opens. The mounts in there are sweet, and there are some nice fish in the aquarium too. Ohhh, I almost forgot to mention that they have instant approvals on their Cabela's VISA cards. Yes, that means they will approve you right on the spot and you can use the card the same day! So prepare yourselves everyone, and prepare your checkbooks!

Oh ya I was there too, it was great. I didn't spend to much but a friend of mine that went spent $1300.

[size 1]Me too. The place was a mad house. I was somewhat disappointed with it. They have some great displays, don't get me wrong but it was not all that it was hyped up to be. They were only open for 2 hours and the lines for the checkout went all the way back to the store. We were going to buy some lures and some wall art for the wife, but with the line being that long we decided to come back another day. If anybody goes on the public grand opening day, BE PREPARED to stand in line. I am not suggesting that you not go, but just don't get over hyped on what to expect like I did.

I had a friend there also last night,she said it was CRAZY but the store was way cool!! She told me there gun department was incredible!.I cant wait for my turn,but I will let it die down for a couple of weeks befor I chance it!!
