I have been hitting deer creek a lot the last month for the smallmouth. Talk about the streakest lake ever. I fish the west side from the bank. Sometimes i catch 7 or eight and then zilch. I did catch a 4 lb smallmouth on thursday on a #2 mepps spinner which was epic. If anyone has any experience there and would want to share about how to fish deer creek i would greatly appreciate it.
