[cool]Hey crossin, TubeDude, TubeBabe, and a few others and I hit Lincoln last Saturday. I think the only ones chucking jigs were TubeDude and me, but neither of us got any eyes. After a couple of hours of that I gave up on the lures and just went to bait. We were fishing off the south dike of the boat harbor anywhere from right off of it to about 1/4 mile out there. Got some cats, but no eyes. I was even using white bass meat for a good part of the day, but still no 'eyes. None of us kicked over to the springs areas, so I don't know if the 'eyes are starting to bite over there or not, but I doubt it.
There were no "locals," and not much of the power squadron either (which was really nice). We're supposed to get a cold front this weekend with rain expected on Sunday. I think the temps are supposed to start dropping next week down into the 70's for highs, so that should start cooling the water temps down enough to get the 'eyes active (hopefully). Should be VERY soon for the 'eyes I'd bet. Maybe this weekend or next week? If you head out there soon, let us know how ya did! [signature]

[cool]I got there at about 5:15 a.m. or so and watched traffic a lot during the day, and there was little of it. THat being said though, I couldn't see on the other side of the L, but there was nobody fishing from shore inbetween the boat harbor and the start of the L. I'm starting to think about going out there again this saturday morning again before the game in Provo to see if I can get any 'eyes, and if I do, I'll launch over by the L. It all depends on the wind. If it's windy, I'm not going to tube, but may take the waders and fish out from the shore.

GUESS ID BETTER GET OVER TO SPORTSMANS AND BUY UP ALL THE MAJIC JIG BODIES AND HEADS BEFORE THE BITE. THER WONT BE ANY TO BE HAD AS SOON AS IT HITS.
