Fished over at Jakes Bay friday morning, about 8:30-1:00. Got three bites and caught one 21 inch cutthroat. Alot of fish jumping, but slow fishing for me. I was using 2 1/2 in. tube jigs, spin-a-lures, powerbait, and worms. Jig tipped with worm is what I caught the cutthroat on. Sure was a nice healthy cut. Alot of pontoons and boats out. From what I could see from shore, most of the people that were fishing from boats and pontoons seem to be catching more fish. Also fished over at Indian Creek. Got one bite. Alot of moss over there. Next time I'll take the float tube. Shore fishing kind of sucks at Strawberry. But the scenery sure makes up for the slow fishing. Especially this time of year.
