Just got back from Mantua. Holy Cow, get off your tuffs, cause the fish are biting.
I had the best day ever, took some of Maniac's, and nomoose's tips to heart, and wow what a day.
Didn't get any Lunkers, but several fish over 13". Had to leave early, it is my anniversary, and I have to go spend some quality time with the better half.
One last thing... Maniac Lures Rock! I'm a bonafide user now.

[cool]So, which maniac lures were working best for you, the Reapers or the 4 inch sticks? Colors? Also, congrats on your anniversary!

Where were you fishing? I was up there tonight,and did quite well using the color #020 in the 3-1/2" reaper! five inch stick wacky rigged worked good too, in the same color but not as good as the reaper texas rigged. Biggest fish was 4lb's

I fished the North East and West Side (Docks). I'm trying to break the lake up into small pieces, and dissect those pieces carefully. To find out what the best places are.
I left about 1230. Had to get home to spend some time with MAMA.
I didn't get started until 0830, so I got my fish in only 4 hours. I had a really great day.
I was using 013 Sticks, and caught some on a Yum Hawg Tail.
I was throwin the Hawg, and not getting a bite, so I yelled at it, and shook the pole violently, BAM! He hit it hard. It really surprised me. So after that, I started shaking more, and ended up with three on the Hawg.
The best bites were on the Stick, though.
I got my order today. Thanks! Mucho!
Now I'm gonna learn how to use those Reapers...
