Bear river 10-12-05 nice

I went out on the Bear yesterday. We caught lots of catfish and we kept 8. Most were pretty small but just before we left me and my friend both caught 2 pounders. We fished till about a hour after dark so next time we plan to stay longer.

We were using chicken livers and nightcrawlers and at least 1 1/2 oz of weight.

I have found that salting the chicken livers several days before really helps to toughen the outside and they hold the hook better.
