Powell Pics

As Jed Burton mentioned, he and I had a great trip on Powell last weekend. We caught a lot of Stripers with a lot of different methods and baits.
We didn't have to look real hard to find them either. Once we found them we never had to leave the area. When they were not feeding they were still showing on the fishfinder. Jed caught a bunch on jigs, but I didn't have much luck with them. I caught them on everything else though.
We had some luck with Smallies on $1.99 predators in yellow and white. I think the wipers will eat them up too.
I'm looking forward to my next trip with Jed, he's great company and almost as good a fisherman as I am. Not really... I'm waaaay better!

This is killin' me. Never fished Powell. Had a trip planned about 6 weeks ago but it fell through. Wanted to bawl. Maybe next year!!

"A better fisherman"......[] and then you fell out of bed and bonked your head and woke up and remembered that of course, I am the better fisherman. I think I distinctly remember periods of spanking you pretty bad on the fish. All in all though to be honest I think we ended up pretty darn even on the fish by the end. It was a blast and I am definitely looking forward to the next trip.

If you ask Jed he will tell you... When I was cleaning those fish my eyes were closed and I was snoring. I don't remember a thing. Still have all my fingers, so I musta done something right! I caught him with his eyes closed when he was cutting out the ribs. There was also a little drool out of the side of his mouth...
