Bear River 11-05 and Willow Park Pond 11-06-05
#1
Well the nieces and nephews wanted to catch some cat fish. Tried talking them into the Berry but catfishing it was. So I took them up by the bird refuge on some private property a friend owns. Ive done good here in the summer for cats, eyes, panfish, carp. But not even a nibble in five hours of fishing. Tried about everything in the tackle box between five of us. Nada.

So this mornig I decided to try Willow Park Pond. At least if we didnt get any catfish maybe a troutski or panfish would be willing to play. No such luck in two hours nothing not even by anyone else around the pond.

The cats seem to move to the very deep slow moving pools when it gets cold... But not even a nibble??? That's rare for the Bear River. And even more rare for you.... I think every report I have ever seen you post you have caught like 30+ fish... It makes me feel better to know I am not the only one here that gets the occasional tail smack from the fish! [laugh]
