I am working on getting to Fish Lake for my first time. In the past there has been a BFT party at the lake. Does anyone know if and when it will happen this season? I would like to be there for it if it could work out.
I was thinking of Feb 20 [President's Day] weekend.
What does everyone else think?

Pikeman throws the fish lake party but he is moving up north so it might not happen unless we just have a get together and just do it.Hopefully he does do it because he is the man you want to fish with at fish lake.[Wink]

My son made our reservations today. We will be there over President's Day weekend {Feb 18th to 21st}. I hope that other BFTers will also be there that weekend. It's always more fun when there are others that you know on the ice.

I haven't taked to Pikeman about having another party this year but considering how slow this site has been lately I'll probable do it with or with out Pikeman.

I would suggest that you reserve your rooms early if you are going to Fish Lake. The less expensive ones look to go fast and the other cabins are very pricey.

F.F. -- That's why we also need a closer-to-home BFT ice party too. Like at Rockport again. It's cool to put some faces with some names, and fish together.

I like the idea of a Rockport party. I loaded up on prizes last year and gave it all to my new grandkids. I need some more rods and gear for them for this year. Let the party begin!!!

My weekend time will be limited this year due to obligating myself to coach Jr. Jazz basketball starting in January. But I am sure I will get the ball rolling on some weekend though. I think I would be shot if i didnt.
