[#ff4040]I have always used P-Line flurocarbon for my 4 and 6. Never had any problems with it, and I think they make a 15# line too. You could give that a shot. It is a little expensive but it's IMO it's worth it.[/#ff4040]

Agree'd. I've used all sorts of line for Ice fishing and found nothing better than P-Line (100%) fluro. As stated, it is pricy. I noticed Cabelas has their own 100% Fluro at about 1/2 the cost of P-line so I might give it a whirl. A couple hundred yards of PL for Mackin' runs me 20+ bucks and I believe that same basic weight in the Cabelas 100% fluro is around 11 bucks.
Just beware that the common ol' knots dont work as well while using Flurocaron. I use a 7 turn uni and have never had a knot fail..

I like the flourocarbon for leader as well. But when I go to a heavier pound test, I like the Cajun "Red" line. They sell ice line too, but only up to 10#. But I've had no problem with their regular line when I want heavier test for the ice.
