First sign of ice!!
#1
This morning all of the ponds at my golf course had a partial skin of ice over them. Of course the deepest one is 18' and they are well fed and fish free, but is sure looked nice seeing something solid. It was a balmy 2* at Jordanelle at 8:00 a.m. this morning and there was so much steam coming off the lake that I couldn't even see the water. It's still only 20* in the shade right now at noon.

9* here at the house ... North 0f Bear Lake. There was about 3 inches of ice on the stock water troughs. After breaking and clearing the ice, then feeding, the ice was forming again. Did the same thing this evening. Guess it's time to put in the heaters.

We are all the pyschos that get excited to see our breathe and ice patches everywhere! People at work think we are crazy because we get excited it's so cold outside. Most moan and groan, yet we have cheesy grins on our faces!

It's getting close- Any guesses on Strawberry this year in the Bays?
