Free parking

I just got off the DWR's website, and it says we have free parking at Strawberry this winter. Just thought I would let you know. The pay tubes will still be there but for donations only.

Hey Randy,, That being the case I guess we'll just have to tape the cash around a brick and toss it through a window at the sheds as we drive by. I suggest that those of us that fish it more than once a season break the bricks in half, its will save us a little jingle.

Of course I just kidding,,,,, toss the whole brick, you'll need to exerice that reeling arm. HA![]

They took down the envelope boxes at Jakes bay the first of Nov.

Yep...the admission is free...but they charge you to pull you out of the snowdrifts. []

that is good to hear that federal money is going towards this. I just hope that State parks would drop there $9 fee in the winter to like $4 or 5.
