I'm moving into my new house in Saratoga Springs and the lake appears to be totally capped over. Don't know how think as I hav'ent been down to the marina. And there could be open water somewhere, but as far as I could see from Redwood Road just up from the marina its totally iced over. If it stays cold for a few days I should have time to drill a few holes saturday.

Sorry, but this question is a bit off topic. Bigfishrule, whereabout in SS are you moving? I looked in there a couple years ago...but haven't made a move yet.

Drove past the Lindon boat harbor on my way home from work this morning and the lake was frozen as far as the eye could see. Two people were fishing off of the docks. Didn't have time to stop as I was late already but had to see. I don't know if the ice was unsafe or they just wanted to fish below the docks. Didn't see any holes in the harbor itself but with the blowing snow that probably doesn't mean much.

It sure is capped and the pump house has 4 inches of solid safe ice.
