I bought an Eskimo Shark Z51 and used it a bit the past few days and I love it, cuts through ice with easy and is very light.
If anyone is in the market for a power auger look at these puppies.
Love it!

Just one word of advice, watch your air bleeder valve.
When I was working in the tackle world, the biggest thing we saw guys looking for on power augers was bleeder valves that had wiggled loose and got lost.
Its kind of a pain when the cap goes missing and gas is leaking all over the place.
I look forward to your review of this power auger on your tackle review page.

Good advice, Predator. Where can you buy a spare?
Also always remember to open the bleeder valve before you try to start the auger.
I didn't remember once just after I got mine and flooded the carb. I had to use the hand auger for a while that day.
I now carry a spare spark plug and wrench with me.

The spark plug idea is a great idea. know your air gap and keep a spare around.

I wish mine had a longer rope, can you get one? When I tore the rope out of mine last year it took about 3 hrs of !%$% this and $*%# that!! What a pain that was. Is there a trick? or replacement ones? (Strikemaster Lazer Pro Mag)

I also have a shark, and love the thing. But I did experience last year, the bleeder valve come loose. luckily I didnt loose it, but did loose most of my fuel in the auger for that day.

Sportsmans has a good price for it. $319 + tax. I looked and elsewhere they run as high as $380.

I remember when your valve came loose. My ice shelter got covered in fuel.

I plan on putting a new rope on mine and to add a few inches . Any lawn mover repair shop would carry it .
