Fished mudcreek today from 10:00 to 3:30. I had one bite that produced a 20" cutt. That was the only bite I had all day. Deathman and a friend of his got up there earlier than me and caught a couple before I got there. They each caught 1 more a piece while I was with them. Very slow fishing, but after the fog lifted it was a beautiful day! Ice was from 4-6". There were only three other groups out there besides us and I don't think any of them were killen 'em either. Beautiful day to be out though[cool]

Sounds like things are slowing down up there in a hurry. Other places should have safe ice pretty soon, if not now! [unsure]
Thanks for the report and glad you could get out.

Then not quite to the point. After the big break line about 100 yards short of the point to the right it gets iffy. After the break it's about 1 1/2", after that it's worse. Of course I had the snowmachines on 4" out there, but thats me. Be carefull and bring a friend if you decide to venture out to far.

Sounds like I'll just stop where MGB and I were the other day. Good 5+ there. Going up tomorrow, just thinking a little further out might be a little better. Fresh waters so to speak.
Thanks for the info and I'll let everyone know how it goes. Hoping to find a few more. [cool]

I moved out about 100 feet out from MGB after we (me and Dan) didn't catch squat early. He moved 50 ft out from me later in the day and got a few. I think anywhere in there will be good as long as you can find what they like. It kept changing (for me anyway) thoughout the day.
