Pineview update

As all you Causey fisherman know Pineview has ice on it. Some friends of mine stopped in to cemetary point on the way home from Causey Saturday to check the ice. The said they fished in about 20-30' and could not keep the perch off. The only problem was they are small as usual. 4-5" at best. The ice was the same as causey (6-7"). They said the water level had gone down after the freeze, so the first couple steps out they broke some ice and splashed some water but once on there it was fine.

That's some good news! If the numbers are back after a couple of good conditions spawning seasons, maybe those perch will be worth chasing again in a year or so.
