Where at Rockport?

I'm hoping to get up to Rockport Thursday, looking for perch and/or trout. I've never fished there. Where is a good place to try? Thanks for the advice.[cool]

Start fishing upstream of the boat ramp. That is the end away from the dam. You may have to move several times to locate the fish. Also try different depths. The fish may be hard to find right now so be ready to move around to find them. You can enter the ice from the highway side or pay to park by the ramp. The only advantage at the ramp is easier access to the ice.
