Rockperch 12-20
#1
I went up by myselfe but I didn't get a bit lonly, there were only about 6 other people on the ice when I got there within a couple hours there were mabie 20 people near me, I was seting the hook as fast as I could stuff the line back down and evaryone kept mooving cloaser and cloaser until it was like the bigest fishing party I've ever been to, no problem I,ve done it myselfe. I didn't have any problem getting all my fish, trout and perch. 35 to 40 ft. of water west side waxers, mealeys, nitecrawlers, and eyes all worked.

[cool]It's good to hear that perhaps the perchies are coming in closer to shore. I can't wait to get out there for a little Saturday morning fishing. Anybody else get a kitchen pass for Christmans eve morn? I'll have my radio on the official BFT channel.

I hope the ice is doing OK. This warm spell worries me a bit for lakes a little lower like Rockport. Any water on the edges or ice shrinking a bit? If I go, my kids go, so I take every precaution plus some.

The ice is about 8 inches thick, I think it'll be ok till the first of the year, but if there is january thaw we will have to walk the plank to get on the ice.
