went with my brother to the island at D.C. fishing was slow at best. we caught 8 total from 2-4:30. we were using green powerbait. all the fish were planters but two, the other two were 13 inch planters from last year. sorry not much excitement, i guess its time to head up to strawberry and catch some real fish.

good for you, at least on catching the eight fish. i was there on the island from 9:00-12:00, and had one bite, needless to say we got skunked. last Friday i caught a 2 lb bow by the statepark near wallsburg using rainbow powerbait. i feel ya on heading up to strawberry. good fishin!
