Pineview Ice?

Anybody know what the conditions are at Pineview? I'm specifically interested in two areas; the narrows near the dam, and the North-West arm.

[font "Comic Sans MS"][black][size 3]We had snowmobiles on it yesterday. It looks worse than it is though its none too good. 5-6 inches of solid ice with 2" of crude at best. We were targeting crappie but could only find perch with an occasional muskie showing up on the sonar. No good perch either. Just a bunch of 4-6 inch dinks.[/size][/black][/font]

Thanks for the update. A few years ago we were able to find crappie around the private boat docks.

4-6 inch dinks are fun for the kids cant wait to take my to little ones up there and do some perch jerkin []
