It sounds like the slush was turning ugly yesterday up there, but it's stopped snowing now. We shouldn't see any fresh snow for a while. Still, with that said and the new snow last night, I'd bet there is probably 6+" of slush up there. I will be anxious to hear the reports the next couple of days to see how much is really sitting on the ice. I hope it gets cold and freezes it up solid! One can hope right?? [crazy]

![]() Hopefully a few people will still post tonight. I would be surprised if no BFT'ers hit the Berry today. If they didn't, I should have went today- no people! [unsure] Good luck tomorrow either way! [signature]

Don't know if you'll get this before you go but I was up there yesterday and there was 4 inches of slush, and by the time we left there was up to 6". It was pretty wet. 3" of snow on top of the slush and the ice was around 8''.

I didn't fish Mudcreek, I fished the Marina side of the world. Conditions were similar over there, maybe worse with a butt load of slush and even some open water were some springs had burned through the ice. There were some ponds of water on top of the ice where high traffic areas were. 6-8 inches of slush out by the pressure ridge maybe 1/4 mile south of the marina, with maybe 3-5 inches of snow on them. This was monday evening. Saw one group with two 4-wheelers that ended up getting stuck in the wide cracks where it appears the pressure ridges had separated. The Marina folks said that a couple other wheelers went in at the same spot earlier. Fishing was way slower than it's been the last few weeks. Not sure if it's because of the weather or the slush, or lack of mobility. Anyway, for what it's worth . . .
