Scolfield south side
#1
We didn't get to Scolfield today until about 11:00. Went down by the second set of buildings past the dam. Fished for about an hour without a bite and people coming off the lake said they had no luck at all either. After all the bad reports for Scolfield we figured the fish must still be on the south end where we were catching them at the end of the summer, so we headed down there to the last pull out. Went out to where it was about 10 feet deep and started fishing again just as the storm was moving in and the wind started blowing hard. We did much better down there and landed six fish in about an hour. Then the five year old started getting cold so we had to leave. Caught them on a size 12 hook with a wax worm and nothing else. All the hits were good and hard. Good Luck!
