lost creek ????

any news or reports on lost creek res? how is the road ? hows the fishing and ice thickness ?

I was up there aboput a week ago. The fishing was fair and the ice is ok. You may have to do a search for my post or look back a couple of pages. Also Petty started a catagory on East Canyon, Lost Creek reports on the bottom of the page.

The road up to the dam is plowed, as is the parking lot. This was an agreement DWR made months ago and have lived up to it. So access is not a problem at all.
This morning's weather was: -5 and a 20 mph wind to go with it when we arrived. Almost too cold to bare fingers just to set up a shelter or bait a hook.
Fish we saw on the Aqua-Vu were schooled, and pretty active. But a lot of the time they were just bumping your jig with a closed mouth, or swatting it with their tail. It was great to watch.
Snow / ice was a good 16".
