Fished the Provo in the canyon on Friday and again today. Friday I saw lots of midges and a small winter stone on the water. Caught a few browns on a sow/ wd40 nymph rig. Walked along the river a ways and saw a few fish looking up right along the banks in the quiet water. They would spook easily and there was a lot of thick brush along the bank where I was, but I managed a couple more browns on an 18 para adams. Beautifull day to be out. Today was more of the same, except I fished dries only. Caught a few more on the Adams and missed a few. I tell you, catching them on dries makes it hard to go back to the shot and indicators, even when it's probably the best thing to do[

Saw a couple of BWO today and friday, but nothing like a hatch. Still mostly midges from #18 to as small as you dare to go.
