Just thought I would let anyone who is interested know that there is going to be a Pike Tournament on Lake Coeur 'dAlene and the Chain Lakes. It is called the "Lester V. Smith Memorial Pike Tournament". Registration is at Fins and Feathers (1816 Sherman, Coeur d'Alene, Id 208-667-9304) and the dates of the tourny is right about the last week in April.
Usually this tourny is just before the good bite for Pike turns on making it a challenging and rewarding tournament who ANYONE could win. It is a artificial lure tournament only. The boats will launch out of Harrison, since most people run up the Chain Lakes where more Pike can be found. There may be more Pike in the Chain Lakes but CDA Lake has a lot and they are usually a lot bigger in size so it's a gamble on how you want to approach the tourny.
