Magic Reservoir

Some of you probably heard on the local news that water is going over the spillway at Magic Reservoir. Looks like Magic Reservoir is going to provide good habitat for the perch to spawn this spring. For the first time in several years the better spawning habitat will be covered with water.[]
I don't think that it will happen at Magic but I know that other reservoirs can be hurt by too much water going over the spillway. It can flush a lot of the fish out of a reservoir.[unsure]

I saw the pictures and it sure is amazing how quick the low water conditions have changed in one year. We have seen the same thing in Northern Utah, it takes longer for the bigger lakes like Powell and the Bear but everything else filled up last year. I hope the lakes will stay full for a few more years. WH2
