Porcupine and Newton
#1
Tried to go to Newton Saturday and the ice is tough to access now, you need a good long board to get there. Me an my kids decided not to try it even though there were a few people out there. So we headed to porcupine as fast as we could and found conditions there better but the ice is starting to pull off the bank a bit there too. But we got out there and fished near a guy that seemed to have the touch (caught 4-5 kokes in 20 mins). Our luck wasn't that good but we iced a couple of nice kokes missed a few biters and had a good time. These were my fisrst Utah salmon and they were delicious. Didn't see anyone on Hyrum in the afternoon I guess the ice is getting just too touchy now so be careful!
