Bountiful Pond
#1
Took my granddaughter to Bountiful Pond this afternoon. If we would have averaged a fish an hour we would have caught 2 1/2 fish' but alas, we fell a little short of that pace -- got skunked. Most excitement was snagging my Blue Fox Vibrax lure on a log or something similar on the bottom. It is still there. I guess I need to have Quantamman1 or Moby_Dick show me how it is done. They were catching a few baby trout over where the stream enters the pond.

...I see that you saw my skunk report from Strawberry today, and all I have to say about that and this post is that I think it is good that we are both getting our annual skunkings behind us!
I can't tell you how many shore fisherman yelled out "How many fish have you caught?"...our standard answer was "If we get the one we are after right now and 9 more, we'll have 10..."
I have a feeling my slump is coming to an end soon! (hope)

I used to N.ot have E.nough T.ime O.ff to go fishing.  Then I retired.  Now I have less time than I had before. Sheesh.

[cool]I took my kids and nephew to Bountiful Lake today, I ended up catching a two trout and a real nice white bass on a spoon. Had to leave around 5:40 pm due to the nephew going to a soccer game. But hey at least I know that there are still fish in the lake! [Tongue]
