Made it to deer creek yesterday, haven"t been fishing since febuary, too much work, parden the four letter word, I was begining too loose my will to live. we got 6 walleye 6 smallies and some trout I lost a big trout at the boat all on crankes on the flats I haven"t even had time to check the posts much lately, they just brought me back to work part time 70 hrs a week or so, I hope it doesn"t go full time. the walleye and bass were all under the slot but it was good to see some fish and spend a day in the boat.

Were you up in the Wallsburg Bay area? I'd like to go float tube that area.

Thanks for the report Ramp_tramp, they sure have been few and far between from DC this year. Glad to hear the walleye catching is picking up. When you said, "the walleye and bass were all under the slot", does that mean the walleye you caught were under 12 inches? WH2

The bass were under 12 inches, the walleye were under 20 inches we didn"t measure all of them, only the ones that were close
