Hey all, never fished much as a kid but I'm just now really getting into it. All of my experience is with live bait and I think I'd like to give some artificial lures a shot. Most of my fishing is for bass and trout, and is done from the banks at Piney Run or Gunpowder. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Hello and Welcome,
Although I am not in your area, some great universal baits for bass are spinner baits, plastic worms (drop shotting works great), swim baits (megabait makes some great swim baits and ton's of other great bass lures, for trout you can't go wrong with Warden's rooster tails, small jigs, powerbait, and small kast masters.
For color selection you may want to experiment a bit and ask local tackle stores.
Please drop by and place a report to let us know how things work out!
