Consider taking a non-license holder fishing on Free Fishing Day. For longer than I can remember (halfeimers is tough), I have done my best to take one or two people fishing on my boat on Free Fishing Day, who have either never fished or haven't fished for several years. I highly recommend it.

That is a good idea. In the past, I have concentrated on staying away from the water that day because it is so crowded!

Very good advice Kent! Riverton City, where I live, puts on a fish derby for all kids who live in the area on June 10th. The City is stocking the irrigation pond and hopes to have over 100 kids present with a number of great prizes to be given away in a raffle.
It is also my understanding that the pond they use will most likely become a new community fishing site with the help of DWR and another pond is in the works!
Round up the kids and take em fishing on the 10th!!!!
