I just got a 3 day kitchen pass to go camping and fishing. I have fell in love with the Berry, but am thinking of maybe going somewhere new. I am even thinking of Idaho or Wyoming. Any suggestions of a great camping spot where we can fish for some good size trout on tubes or toons? Thanks

Daniels, 15 miles nw of Malad. Huge Kamloops rainbows and some hybrids. Primitive camping and concrete boat launch. Also restrooms. 10.50 for Idaho non r. lisence and about 1 hour 20 minute drive. Perfect for toons and tubes but all artificial, barbless and 2 trout over 20". I love it up there. More info pm me.

Matt Warner Res.. One of my buddies was up there a few weeks ago, and he said the snow is gone. On a 2 day trip he caught over 125 fish by himself, and he was in a tube the whole time.

If you're looking to Idaho, try Henry's Lake, just south of West Yellowstone. Also Hebgen Lake, Quake lake, and Island Park Res. within 30 minutes of Henry's. Great place for a toon and a fly rod. Large fish in Henrys, though not always easy.
