Well I have finally come out of hibernation and hit my new secret spot with my Sister and Nephew. We were slaughtering the kitty's. Nailed about 8 bullheads that were only 10-12 inchers and probably about 10 chanels that ranged from 16-24 inches. I lost that 24 because I did not have a net and lost another 24-26 incher due to the dreded weed factor (My 5 year old Nephew about got drug into the water when he tryed to fight that bad boy)
Of course im am guesing the size of the that one dew to the fact I didn't get to see it out of the water but the other 24 was lifted then SNAP!!! by by kitty.
My Sister cursed me for not bringing the digi cam and I cursed myself as well. We are going to try and hit the spot again this weekend and I will have the cam.

Where and when did you catch that bad boy your holin in that pic??? It looks like you were ice fishin, how the HE!! did you get it out of the hole ???

Law thats a dink Mac I hooked up with at Flaming Gorge a year ago the end of last March as I recall. As far as how I managed to get it through an ice hole,, well, I surronded the ice hole with pees and coaxed it until it crawled out on its own. And if you dont believe me, ask Ron/fuzzy []

Actually we're allowed up to an 18 inch ice hole at FG,, as well as other Mac waters here in Utah, altho', I rarely use an 18" icehole. Two over lapping 10" holes cut with my 10" auger and creating a 10"x16" oval usually does the trick just fine. If not, I do carry a spud bar to make the hole larger when need be...
