Lost Creek

Went up to lost creek on saturday and I was really suprised to see so many people out on the water. Usually there are alot of people there fishing from the shore but man there were alot of boats up there, and half of them would speed through the lake even though it is wakeless (which really pissed me off because I was in a pontoon.) I trolled around the whole lake and only caught one fish my buddy landed three. All in all it was a really slow day there by far the worst I have done there ever. I had alot of small bites they just wouldn't hold on. I fished for about 6 hours with the one small planter but it was still a beautiful day and I was happy because I spent it fishing.

I threw everything I had at them I used mostly Mepps Spinners tipped with a worm but I also used some plastic minows and a small rattletrap. I had hits on all of them but the rattletrap was the one that produced the fish. I used all different variations of spinners but anything with some pink in it got me some hits.

Thanks for the info. Trolling Lost Creek is a lot of fun. I have always found the orange panther martin to out produce anything. I have also done well with various rapalas.
