All watercraft insured???

A friend just called me to ask if i was watching the news. No i said as i just got home from work. He then told me he saw that a new law (emergency or the like) goes into effect tomorrow at 6 am that requires all watercraft with any motor(even electric) to have liability ins. Did anyone else see this or hear about it?

That is true they did say that but I promise you it is only for 50hp and larger. Sware to you on a stack of bibles. Te news misspoke.
