Ahhh, the chicken of the sea. Obviously you know how to clean them properly, or else you'd be dead. LOL, no joke though, they are poisonous and potentially fatal if not prepared properly.
It's just now time for them to start their run along the east coast. Last couple times I had my boat our around the getties we caught a few. You should start seeing them more prodominately from here on out until fall. If you're targeting them, i've found fresh shrimp works about the best. I've caught more from a peir than anywhere else. What state are you in, I might know a good place for you to try.[cool] [signature]

well i only cut the head off and skin them and im not dead yet lol but i fish in SC and NC

the only time i have caught them is with my grandfathers boat,sucked them in,all the way to the sediment bowl,the little bugger would then blow up and stop the water from cooling the motor,good thing for carring a spare sed.jar.it would take an hour for him to deflait lol
