[#0000ff]I had a good friend who guided out of Soldotna...Gary Lindstrom. His operation was Alaska Big Dog's Fishing. He died from skin cancer two years ago. His wife (Bev) had top rod honors for his camp, with an 85 pound king she caught while fishing with Gary. As the story goes, everybody on the river could hear her screaming "Don't you dare lose that fish". [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]My wife (TubeBabe) often whacks me with either most fish or biggest fish (or both). Sure is easier to live with them when you let them outfish ya. Sure would be easier to tolerate if we had a choice.[/#0000ff]

I am so jelious !!! I went on a cruise to Alaska about three years ago and signed up for a King Salmon excursion at 2 differant ports but both times the weather was to bad to go out. Also tryed a Halibut one as well but the same problem occured. I guess there were like 12 foot swells out on the ocean and one of the guid boats had to spend the night on some little island out there cuz they couldent get back.
BTW, that is a gorgious guppy !

Awesome looking king! Way to land it. We landed 40 reds over this past weekend on the Kasilof river and one king. Sounds like you had the trip of a lifetime.

Hey Mark! Where ya been? Your right, not much color. We were only about 7 miles up river from the bay. Our guide said he thought it had only been in the river day or two. He thought it might be one of the first fish of the second run.
